The film selection for Red Brick Roads Music & Arts Festival is a great reason alone to attend this event!

In 2019 Red brick Roads will continue our exciting tradition of showcasing award winning films from Festivals across our state, as well as offer screenings of other popular local works.

Highlights include:

  • Mississippi Public Broadcasting’s TV series Palate to Palette, directed by Anthony Thaxton, will be back at Red Brick Roads this year:

“Two Mississippi favorites -- chef Robert St. John and artist Wyatt Waters – follow their passion for cooking and painting across the state in their new series Palate to Palette. The duo travels from the Delta to the Coast, sampling local fare, whipping up scrumptious dishes, and painting watercolors of the locales. These best friends have loads of fun on their road trips. Come join them!”

Attendees will have the chance to view season 4 during the festival, but everyone should tune in to MPB television statewide or online at to see more of their adventures.

  • Clinton native, Oliver Garrett, who now works in the film industry in California as an assistant director for Fox Studios, will have two of his independent films screened during the festival. One of the films, Last Lovecraft: Relic of Cthulu, even received international recognition as one of only 50 films selected to participate at the Slamdance Film Festival in Toronto.

With so many quality offerings to see, you’ll definitely want to make sure you plan your festival time to include this great free showcase of spectacular films!
